If you have been invited to use Knowledge Assistant in your Yext account, you'll receive an email with steps to set up Knowledge Assistant with SMS and Facebook Messenger.
This article will walk you through the instructions in the onboarding email, and how to begin using Knowledge Assistant.
Set up Knowledge Assistant through the invite email
- Your invite email will contain a unique access code. You'll use this code to set up Knowledge Assistant with your chosen messaging platform.
- To use Knowledge Assistant with SMS messaging, text your access code to the number indicated for your region.
Note: We also recommend adding the phone number to your contacts so you can easily access Knowledge Assistant later.
- To use Knowledge Assistant with Facebook Messenger, click the provided link in the invite email next to the Facebook Messenger option. This can be done on either desktop or mobile.
Note: In order to use this link, you must be signed into the Messenger mobile app. If you are following these steps on desktop, you must be signed into Facebook.
