This article explains how to invite users to set up the Knowledge Assistant without requiring that they log into the Yext account. To invite users to set up the Knowledge Assistant:
- Hover over your name in the top navigation bar and click Account Settings.
- Click User Management in the sidebar.
- Click on the Invite link next to the user’s name. A dialog box appears.
- Click Invite to confirm that you would like to send a Knowledge Assistant invitation to that email address.
Users will receive an email with a unique access code. The email will instruct them to message their access code to the Knowledge Assistant via SMS or Facebook Messenger to complete registration.
This process allows users to initiate contact with the Knowledge Assistant. If you would like users to receive Yext-initiated communication, you will need to assign the user to a specific entity from within the Yext platform.
