When syncing your data to sites in the Publisher Network, you have the option to initiate the launch process. Some sites, such as Google Business Profile, Facebook, and Apple require some additional steps in order to go live. This article walks you through the steps of initiating the launch process to push your data to Google Business Profile, Facebook, Apple, and the Extended Network. For more information on the overall listings launch process, see Listings Launch Overview.
To request a Listings Launch:
- Click Listings in the navigation bar and click All Listings.
- Click on the More Actions button and select Listings Launch. A dialog box appears.
- Select the sites that you would like to request to launch.
- Fill out the form for the sites that you selected.
- Extended Network
- Select the desired entities and click Apply.
- (Optional) Add any additional information in the text box.
- Google Business Profile
- Select the desired entities and click Apply.
- Grant Yext Access to Manage your Location Group. This requires you to take steps in your Google Business Profile account. For more information on how to do this, see Grant Yext Access to your Google Business Profile groups. Once you have taken the necessary steps, select the checkbox to acknowledge that you have completed this process.
- Enter your Brand Settings.
- Enter your Brand Names and Location Group Names, and indicate whether you would like to give Yext access to initiate ownership conflict resolution on your behalf.
- Select your Field Settings. For more information on how these fields appear on Google, see Google Integration Overview.
- This allows you to enable or disable the syncing of certain fields to Google Business Profile from the Knowledge Graph. Note that these settings are applied account-wide.
- (Optional) Add any additional information in the text box.
- Facebook
- Select the desired entities and click Apply.
- Enter your Brand Page Details.
- Select the desired Brand Settings for your Facebook location pages.
- This will inform our internal teams on how to standardize your Facebook-specific fields across your entities (e.g., Location Descriptor, Username).
- Select your Field Settings. For more information on how these fields appear on Facebook, see Facebook Integration Overview.
- This allows you to enable or disable the syncing of certain fields to Facebook from the Knowledge Graph. Note that these settings are applied account-wide.
- (Optional) Add any additional information in the text box.
- Apple
- Select all entities and click Apply.
- Select the checkboxes to acknowledge that the entities you have selected abide by Apple’s guidelines for data sync.
- Note: Apple only accepts data if it includes all entities under that brand by country. For more information on the Apple integration, see Apple Integration Overview on Hitchhikers.
- (Optional) Add any additional information in the text box.
- Extended Network
- Click Request Launch.
- Once you request to launch on that site, it will be marked with a green checkmark that says Requested.
