Once you have set up your Conversion Actions, you will need to install the Conversion Tag on your website wherever your conversions take place in order to track conversion events. For example, you may want to install the tag so that it is loaded after a form is submitted, or when an order confirmation screen has loaded.

There are two ways to Install Conversion Tags. You can use a Tag Manager or you can manually add the tag to your website. This article walks you through the steps to install Conversion Tags using Adobe Launch. Currently, Yext has built-in tags available with Adobe Launch and Google Tag Manager, but you can generally use any Tag Manager. For more information about adding tags manually, see Install Conversion Tags Manually.

To install Conversion Tags using Adobe Launch:

1. Log into your Adobe Launch account.
2. Choose the Property where you want to install your Yext Conversion Tag.
3. Click on the Extensions tab.
4. Click on the Catalog button.
5. Click Install under the Yext Conversion Tracking extension.
   • Install the Listings Conversion Tag
     1. Click on the Rules tab.
     2. Click Create New Rule or Add Rule.
     3. Enter a name for your rule.
     4. Specify the Events and Actions when you want your conversion tag to be triggered.
        1. Click Add under Events.
        2. Select DOM Ready from the Event Type drop-down.
        3. Click Keep Changes.
        4. Click Add under ACTIONS.
        5. Select Yext Conversion Tracking from the Extension drop-down.
        6. Select Track Listings Acquisition from the Action Type drop-down.
        7. Click Keep Changes.
     5. Click Save.
     6. Publish your changes.  
   • Conversion Tag for Tag-Based Conversion Actions
     1. Click on the Rules tab.
     2. Click Create New Rule or Add Rule.
     3. Enter a name for your new rule.
     4. Specify the Events and Conditions when you want your conversion tag to be triggered.
        1. Click Add under Events.
        2. Select DOM Ready from the Event Type drop-down.
        3. Click Keep Changes.
        4. Click + Add next to Actions.
        5. Select Yext Conversion Tracking from the Extension drop-down.
        6. Select Track Conversion from the Action Type drop-down.
        7. Enter the Conversion ID from the Yext platform, and optionally set or map a Conversion Value.
        8. Click Keep Changes.
     5. Click Save.
     6. Publish your changes.
