Linking your Facebook account with Yext allows you to manage Facebook listings, reviews, and social posts in Yext.
Note: If you are linking to an existing Facebook page, you need to verify your Facebook account before it can be linked with Yext. Visit Facebook's Identity Confirmation page and follow the instructions to verify your account. You will also need to turn on two-factor authentication and Location Services. For full instructions, see Facebook's How do I get authorized to publish on my Page? article.

Relink Your Facebook Account
Facebook accounts may become disconnected in certain cases, such as if there is a change to your Facebook login credentials. This article explains how to relink your Facebook account to Yext.
To do this, you'll remove the existing connection with Facebook and then reauthenticate your Facebook account. You'll also refresh any Facebook listings to ensure that they continue syncing to Facebook.
Step 1: Unlink and Relink
- Click on the Account Details icon (
) in the bottom left corner of the navigation bar and select Account Settings.
- Click the Linked Accounts tile.
- Locate the Facebook section and click Unlink Account next to the affected Facebook account. In the modal that appears, click Unlink Account to confirm your action.
- Now that the account is unlinked, click Link another account link or Link Account.
-
When the Facebook login modal appears, enter your Facebook credentials, but do not click Continue. Instead, click Edit Access.
- Ensure that all pages are selected for each section of the Facebook permissions. To do this, click Deselect All and then Select All for each section of permissions.
- Scroll through the list to make sure all permissions are toggled on for all pages.
-
When all permissions are granted, click on the x icon in the top right corner of the pop-up to close it out.
- Click Continue as [Name] to finish relinking the account.
- Reassign the Facebook account to the location or set of locations it corresponds to in Yext. To do this, click Select a location in the Assign to field, and select the location you'd like to assign the Facebook account to. Then click Link this account.
Step 2: Refresh Facebook Listings
Once the account is relinked, you will need to reprocess any Facebook listings connected to the account to ensure they continue syncing properly.
- Click Listings in the navigation bar and click Publishers.
- Click Facebook in the list of publishers.
- Review each location associated with the relinked Facebook account. You will need to click Opt Out and Opt In for each location that needs to be reprocessed.
- If you don’t see Opt Out, click on the dropdown next to the desired location and click Opt Out. For more information about reprocessing a listing, see How to Reinitiate the Match Process.
Once your Facebook account is relinked with Yext, we recommend monitoring the status of your relinked Facebook listings. For more information about the status of a listing, see Listing Statuses.
