Yext supports review monitoring and response for Booking.com, allowing hotels to manage guest feedback alongside reviews from other publishers. This article covers how to connect your Booking.com account and what to expect from the integration.
Requirements
To manage Booking.com reviews through Yext, you need the following:
- A Booking.com Extranet account
- Active listings on Booking.com
- Hotel or Location entities with an active Review Monitoring subscription for monitoring
- Hotel or Location entities with an active Review Response subscription for responding
Connect Your Booking.com Account
Step 1: Grant Yext access to your Booking.com properties
- Log in to your Booking.com Extranet account and navigate to the channel manager settings. Use this link to go directly to the relevant page.
- Confirm Yext as the provider.
- Select the properties you want to manage reviews for through Yext.
- Click Apply change.
Step 2: Retrieve your Booking.com property IDs
- Navigate to your Extranet homepage.
- Click Download next to your list of properties.
- Copy the IDs from Column A of the downloaded file. These are your Booking.com Property IDs.
Step 3: Add property IDs to the Knowledge Graph
- Navigate to Knowledge Graph > Entities and open the hotel or location entity you want to update.
- Find the Booking Property ID field and enter the ID.
- Click Save.

Note: The Booking Property ID field is only available on Hotel and Location entity types.
Step 4: Monitor and respond to reviews
After connecting your account, Booking.com reviews appear in Reviews > Monitoring and Reviews > Response alongside reviews from other publishers.
How Booking.com Ratings Are Displayed
Booking.com scores reviews out of 10. Yext converts these to a five-star format using the following process:
- Round the score to the nearest whole number.
- Divide by 2.
For example, a score of 8.9 displays as 4.5 stars and a score of 7.1 displays as 3.5 stars. If the overall score is below 1, the rating displays as 0.5 stars.
Limitations
- The Booking.com integration supports review monitoring and response only. Yext does not support updating listing information through this integration.
- Review responses cannot be deleted through Yext. To delete a response, log in to Booking.com directly. Deleted responses may take up to one week to be reflected in Yext.
- Responses made through Yext can take up to 24 hours to appear on Booking.com due to a manual review process on Booking.com's end.
