This article explains how to enable entity types within your account. Once an entity type is enabled you will be able to add those entity types into the platform.
Note: Enabling an entity type does not give you access to entity-specific packages (like Yext for Food, or Yext for Healthcare). For more information on these packages, reach out to your Client Success Manager or Yext Support.
To enable entity types:
- Hover over your name in the top navigation bar and click Account Settings.
- Click Manage Entity Types in the sidebar.
- Click on the drop-down button next to Edit for the desired entity type, and select Enable.
- (Optional) Click Set as Primary to set that entity type as your default when adding new entities into the platform.
