The following push notifications are available when using the app:
- New reviews submitted
- New Scout insights
- Scout notifications will appear after the first scan is completed.
Note: You will need the proper product access and permissions to see these notifications.
Configure Push Notifications
To configure push notifications, you will need to complete the following:
- Accept the registration terms upon initially logging in to the app, as mentioned in the Setup documentation. If you previously chose not to allow notifications on your device, you will need to turn push notifications on in your device settings.
- Confirm or turn on notifications in the notification settings within the desktop version of Yext.
- Confirm that these notifications are turned on by navigating to Account Settings > Notifications.
- Toggle My Delivery Preferences for Mobile to on for the notifications you want to receive on your mobile device.
- If you don’t have notifications set up and listed in this table (e.g., New Reviews notifications), you will need to create a custom notification.
Disable Push Notifications
There are two ways to disable push notifications:
- Updating preferences in Account Settings in the desktop version of Yext. Navigate to Account Settings > Notifications and toggle My Delivery Preferences for Mobile to off.
- Turning them off in your device’s settings. This will turn off all push notifications from the Yext app.
