When you find an action you want to apply, you can either instantly approve it for all your selected entities or manually review and configure an action prior to approving it.
After you approve an action, the changes are applied to your entities immediately.
Changes applied from an action cannot be undone using the Action Center. If you decide you want to revert any Knowledge Graph-related changes, you must manually update information for your entities in your Knowledge Graph. Things like unpublishing review responses or social media posts cannot be done in Yext. You must go to the Publisher website.
Approve instantly
To instantly approve the action for all selected entities, click the purple button with the name of the action and the number of changes it is applying, for example Publish Responses (3). A popup appears confirming your selection. Click the purple button again to complete the action. A delay modal appears for five seconds while the system applies actions, and you can click Cancel in this window if needed.
Review before approving
To edit an action or more carefully see what the action will do once it’s applied, click Review.
Depending on the type of action, these are the types of things you can see and do on the Review page:
- What information the system is going to insert or publish on your behalf, such as review responses. You can edit this information as needed.
- Unselect certain entities you don’t want to apply the action to.
- See how confident the Action Center agents are in the information they are going to add or edit for each entity. For example, if the action is to add Instagram handles, one entity might have a much higher confidence score than another if their Instagram handle can be found on more Publishers.
When you are ready to approve the action, click the purple button with the name of the action and the number of changes it is applying, for example, Add Categories (2).
Actions that require input
Some actions require information from you prior to being deployed. For example, you might need to supply a list of contacts to send review invites to. The Review button for these actions is white instead of purple and labeled with “Review + [action]”, for example, Review & Send Invitations (14). When you click it, you are prompted to provide the information accordingly before approving the action.
