AI Visibility Score
The percentage of tracked AI answers in which your brand was mentioned. A score of 40% means your brand appeared in 40% of all the AI answers Brand Scout tracked for your configured queries. Brand Scout runs continuous scans across four AI platforms for every query configured in your account. The score is the ratio of answers you appeared in to the total answers tracked, so it moves as that share changes.
If you want to improve your overall score, check the Query Insights page to find low-scoring queries and follow the optimization recommendations.

Visibility Performance Over Time
This chart helps you see how your AI visibility has fared in the past days, weeks, or months. Dig deeper to more precisely identify opportunities for improvement by filtering the chart by segment, competitor, or AI engine. You can also include your tests to track whether the optimization recommendations you have completed have improved AI visibility over time.
Brand Visibility by Segment
This chart helps you compare how often your brand shows up in AI answers to queries related to your tracked segments. For example, if one of your higher visibility segments is “high protein meals”, that means your brand is often mentioned in AI answers to queries related to high protein dining. If one of your lower visibility segments is “kids meals”, your competitors are probably mentioned more often in queries related to dining out with kids. Using this information, you can check the Query Insights page to find queries related to kids dining and optimize them.
Cross-Engine Trends
This chart breaks out your visibility by AI engine. Each AI engine has a distinct retrieval logic, source preference, and answer format. A brand that appears consistently on one platform may be almost invisible on another for the exact same query. Understanding which platform you are strong on and which you are weak on helps you effectively optimize your visibility.
Share of Voice Matrix
A measure of how much of each AI-generated answer belongs to your brand, relative to all other brands mentioned in that same answer. Unlike Visibility Score, which tracks whether you appear, Share of Voice measures how much space you own inside the answers where you do appear. For example, if four brands are mentioned in an answer (including yours), your Share of Voice for that answer is 25%. You can have high visibility but low Share of Voice if your brand consistently appears alongside many competitors in crowded answers.
