Message templates allow users to save time when sending the same text message to different clients. Yext provides two types of message templates:

• Organization Templates - created by administrators and are available to all users within an org. Individual users can't create Organization Templates, they can edit admin-created Organization Templates before sending. Published Organization Templates are available in Yext Desktop, the Mobile apps for iOS and Android, as well as Embedded Relate for Salesforce.  Administrators can learn how to create and manage Organization Templates.
• Workspace Templates - created by individual workspace owners and delegates and are only available within the workspace where they’re created. Workspace Templates can only be created in Yext Desktop. They can be edited before sending and are available in Desktop and on the Mobile app on iOS and Android.

Some organizations have opted not to enable the text message templates feature.

To access and use text message templates:

1. In the side menu, under Conversations, click Message & Call.
2. Open the Relate message composer by selecting an ongoing message chain, or by clicking the new message icon in the top right of the screen.
3. Click Use a Message Template in the message composer.

4. Select a template from the drawer. Workspace templates are listed under My Templates.

5. The text of the selected template will be entered into the message composer, where you can edit, send, or schedule to send the message.
