Generative AI is a feature of Social that allows users to generate social media post descriptions using Artificial Intelligence. There are two methods for generating a post description using Generative AI: enter key words and phrases or write a prompt.
By entering key words and phrases, you can select the approximate length and add important words and phrases you want to be included in the description. The key words and phrases AI method must be enabled by your organization before you can use this feature.
Note: The words and phrases method currently only works in English.
To create a post description using words and phrases:
1. In the Post Library, click New Post with AI, and next to Enter Key Words and Phrases, click Use this Method.
2. Select the Tone of voice:
- Casual
- Neutral
- Professional
3. Select the Length of post:
- Short: around 1-3 sentences
- Medium: around 3-5 sentences
- Long: more than 5 sentences/article-length
4. Optional Pick Suggested words and phrases. These are words and phrases Yext has identified that might interest you based on recent popular posts among your peers at your organization.
5. Type your own words and phrases you want to include in your post description. After typing each one, click Add.
6. Click Generate a Post Description.
The engine generates three versions of the description, and you can view them by clicking Previous Version or Next Version. If you don’t like any of the descriptions, edit the tone, length, or words and phrases and click Generate a Post Description again to start over.
Note: You can edit the description before publishing it.
7. When you are satisfied with your description, click Next.
8. On the Review and Publish page, make the desired edits to the text, and add any links or images you want to be published with the post.
9. Select which social account(s) to publish the post to, and select whether to publish it now or schedule it for later.
