The Social Approvals feature allows you to approve or reject social posts or comments created by users with require approval permissions. This article covers how to approve or reject social posts.
To approve or reject a social post:
- Click Inbox then click My Tasks to see all social tasks
- Select an Approve Post task action from the list
- Review the Task Details tab
- Under the preview, click the dropdown with the location entity selected to review other location entity posts.
- Select the publisher logo to see what the post will look like on that publisher's site for a specific entity.
- Select one of the action buttons at the bottom of the tab
- Approve
- Click Approve to publish the content.
- Reject
- Click Reject to prevent the content from being published.
- Fill out the Rejection Feedback and click Reject.
- Note: We recommend rejecting if the content needs a lot of updates. For minor updates, you may want to consider leaving the task open (do not approve or reject) and completing the optional step below.
- Approve
- Optional. If you want to leave feedback for the creator of the post to update the content, leave messages in the Conversation tab.
- Type a note in the text box at the bottom.
- Click Send.
