Dashboards are collections of saved reports that give you and your team an at-a-glance view of your most important metrics. You can create multiple dashboards, customize their layout, and share them with colleagues or external stakeholders. You can create an unlimited number of dashboards, with no limit on the number of reports you can add to each one.
By default, a new dashboard is only visible to you. Use share settings to make it visible to others in your account. To adjust the settings and share the dashboard with other users, see Configure Dashboard share settings.
Create a Dashboard
To create a dashboard from an existing one, hover over the dashboard name in the left sidebar, click the dropdown, and select Duplicate. Update the name and make any changes, then click Save. Otherwise, follow the steps below to create a new dashboard from scratch.
- Click Analytics in the navigation bar and click Dashboards.
- Click on the + Add Custom Dashboard button on the left side of the page.
- Enter a Dashboard Name.
- Select the insights you would like to include in your dashboard. Insights must exist in Report Builder before you can add them to a dashboard.
- Note: To learn how to create custom insights, see Create a Custom Analytics Report.
- Click Save.
- (Optional) To specify an entity or date range for this dashboard, use the filters at the top of the page and click Apply. Then click on the Save as Default button on the right.
Edit a Dashboard
To add, remove, or rearrange reports, or update the dashboard name or filters:
- Open the dashboard you want to edit.
- Make your changes directly on the dashboard: add or remove reports, drag reports to reposition them, or resize them.
- Click Save.
To add a caption to a report on the dashboard, click the three dots in the upper-right corner of the report and select Add Caption. Enter your caption and click Save.

Delete a Dashboard
To delete a dashboard, hover over the dashboard name in the left sidebar, click the dropdown, and select Delete. Deleting a dashboard does not delete the underlying reports. They remain saved in Report Builder.
Share a Dashboard
To share your new dashboard with someone in your Yext account, see Share an Analytics Dashboard. To share the dashboard with someone who does not have Yext account access, visit Share an Analytics Dashboard.
