You have the ability to remove services from entities directly from the platform. This functionality will allow you to quickly initiate the removal of existing entities on all Yext products included in your subscription. This article explains how to request licenses to be removed from entities and remove Feature Packs within the Yext platform. For more information on how to add services, see Add Services to Entities. 

To remove services from entities:

1. Click Content in the navigation bar and click Entities.
2. Select the checkboxes next to the entities you want to remove licenses from.
   • If the entities are not easy to find or there are a lot of entities, consider using a label. To add a label, see Create an entity label for detailed instructions. You can also upload a label using the Entity Upload tool, see Add and edit entities through spreadsheet upload.
3. Click on the More Actions button and select Remove Services.
4. This process differs depending on the type of services you are removing. Follow the steps below accordingly:
   • Licenses
     1. Select Subscriptions and click Continue.
     2. Select the correct options to provide additional information for your request to unassign a license.
     3. If you select the option to Select specific licenses to remove, select the checkboxes next to the licenses you would like to remove.
     4. If applicable, enter any additional comments into the text box.
     5. Select when you would like to remove services. You can select either Now or At a later date.
        1. If you select At a later date, specify the date on which the services should be removed. Services will be removed between 12:00 - 2:00 AM ET on the selected date.
     6. Click Continue.
     7. Review the request and if applicable, enter any additional comments into the text box.
     8. Click Submit to submit your request. This brings you to a confirmation screen.
        
        • Note: Requests to unassign licenses for more than 15 entities at a time are usually completed in 1-3 business days, and your Client Success Manager will reach out once this request has been fulfilled.
   • Feature Packs
     1. Select Feature Packs and click Continue.
     2. Select Remove Feature Packs to remove an entire Feature Pack or Remove Features from Existing Feature Packs to turn off certain features.
     3. Click Continue.
     4. Select the Feature Packs you would like to remove or features you wish to turn off click and Continue.
     5. Review the removals and click Process Changes. This brings you to a confirmation screen.
5. Click Return to Content.
6. (Optional) To view scheduled license updates:
   1. Click on the Account Details icon in the navigation bar and click Account Settings.
   2. Click Scheduled License Updates.
