Step 1: Establish your baseline
On the Overview page, record your current visibility score and Share of Voice baseline by segment. These numbers are your starting point for the quarter.
Step 2: Identify priority segments
On the Query Insights page, identify the three to five segments with the largest competitive gap. These are your Q-priority areas.
Step 3: Build the task pipeline
For each chosen segment, click Optimize this Query for a few lower performing queries to add them to your tasks on your Optimization page. Prioritize your task list and assign an owner and target publish dates for each item. If you want deeper diagnostic info on why a specific segment is underperforming, review the Narrative and Link Intelligence pages to analyze further.
Step 4: Execute and measure
Complete each task by generating and publishing the content asset. At the start of each month, review Live Tests from the previous month. Update your visibility baseline and adjust the priority queue based on what you find.
Tip: A quarterly GEO plan works best when it has a clear theme. Choose a small number of segments to focus on. Supporting segments benefit from the source density you build in the primary ones.
