In certain scenarios, you may need to relink your Facebook with Yext.

Before relinking your account with Yext, you will need to remove the existing link within Facebook itself. To do this:

Relink Your Account in Yext:

1. In your Yext account, click on the Account Details icon () in the bottom left corner of the navigation bar and click Account Settings.
2. Click Linked Accounts.
3. Navigate to the Facebook section of this page, and unlink the Facebook Account that needs to be relinked by clicking Unlink Account. A dialog box will appear. Click Unlink Account to confirm your action.
4. Now that the account is unlinked, click on the + Link another account link or Link Account button.
5. When the Facebook pop-up window appears, log in to Facebook, but do not click Continue. Instead, click on the Edit Access link. If you don’t see the Edit Access link, try expanding your window.

   

6. Click Deselect All and then Select All to make sure you have selected all pages.
   • Note: This needs to be done for all 12 sections of the Facebook permissions.
7. Scroll through the list to make sure all permissions are granted and toggled on for all pages.
8. Click on the X icon () in the top right corner of the pop-up window to close out of the Edit requested access screen.

   

9. Click Continue as [Name] to finish relinking the account.
10. Now you need to assign this linked account to the location or set of locations it corresponds to. To do this, click Select a location in the Assign to field, and select the location you'd like to assign the Facebook account to. Then click Link this account.

Once the account is relinked, you will need to reprocess the listing to refresh the connection between these locations in Yext and the Facebook account.

Reprocess the Listing:

1. Click Listings in the navigation bar and click Publishers.
2. Click Facebook in the list of publishers.
3. Review each location associated with the relinked Facebook account. You will need to Opt Out and Opt In for each location that needs to be reprocessed.
