The entity search page in Yext Content displays a list of all your entities. By default, this page will display the name and entity type for each entity. With Customizable Entity Previews, you have the ability to adjust what fields display for each entity type. This allows you to display the most important information, so users can navigate and manage their entities much more efficiently. This article will walk you through the steps to customize an entity preview for a given entity type.
To customize your Entity Preview:
- Click Content in the navigation bar and click Configuration.
- Click Entity Types.
- Click on the View Details button next to the desired entity type.
- Click on the Preview tab.
- In the sidebar under Select View select whether you would like to configure your entity preview in Card View or Row View by clicking on the corresponding icon.
- Select the fields you would like to display in your entity preview.
- In the left sidebar select the checkbox next to the field you would like to display on the entity preview. To remove a field from the entity preview, simply deselect it. You can add a maximum of 7 fields.

- There are a variety of different display settings that appear in the drop-down menu, which will vary by field type. Some examples are, emphasizing a field, showing a field name or adding a field name alias, choosing a line height, and more.
