The Assets feature allows you to create a library of text, photo, and video content that can be applied to fields in Yext Content. Deleting an asset will make the asset unavailable to users moving forward; however, it will not retroactively remove the asset from any entity that is currently using it. This article covers how to delete an asset. To edit an asset see Edit Assets.
Note: You must first remove the asset from all entities before deleting it.
- Click Content in the navigation bar and click Assets.
- Click on the Edit button for the desired asset.
- To delete assets in bulk: Select the checkboxes next to the relevant rows, click on the More Actions button, and select Delete.
- Click on the Delete Asset link at the bottom of the page. A dialog box appears.
- Click Delete.
To find Assets using an Advanced Filter, click on the Advanced Filter button in the upper-right corner of the Assets page. You can also change the display of this page by clicking on the Columns button.
