On some review sites, users leave reviews for your brand as a whole rather than for specific locations (or other entity types). We currently support brand review monitoring for Google Play Store, Apple App Store, Indeed, and Glassdoor. This article explains how to set this up.
To pull in reviews for your brand:
- Enable the built-in Brand entity type in your account. For instructions, see Enable Entity Types.
- Add a brand entity. For instructions, see Add a Single Entity.
- If you already have a brand entity set up (e.g. for brand page social posting), you may use the same entity.
- Fill in the Name field. This is used to identify the entity in the platform.
- Fill in the following field(s) depending on which publisher(s) you want to pull reviews from. We will pull in reviews based on a match with these fields.
- Indeed / Glassdoor: Fill in the Name field.
- Note: If the name of this entity is not close enough to your brand name on the publisher, you may have to update the name or create another entity with a name that does match to pull these in.
- Google Play Store: Fill in the Android App URL field.
- Apple App Store: Fill in the iOS App URL field.
- Indeed / Glassdoor: Fill in the Name field.
- Assign the brand entity a license from the Ultimate package, Professional package, or Review Monitoring add-on. For instructions, see Assign Licenses and Feature Packs to Entities.
- Once you complete these steps, the platform will begin scanning for reviews. Once these reviews are pulled in, validate that your brand entity has been matched to the correct listing(s).
- Click Reviews in the navigation bar and click Monitoring.
- Locate the relevant review. You can filter for the site you’re looking for.
- Click on the review link and confirm it correctly leads to your brand’s listing on the site.
