Edit a Custom Analytics Dashboard – Yext Help

This article covers how to edit a custom analytics dashboard. You can remove and add insights, move and resize insights, add captions to insights, as well as change the dashboard filters, name, and type.

Click Analytics in the top navigation bar.
Click on the Dashboard sub-tab.
Click on the desired dashboard in the sidebar.
Make your desired change.
1. Move an insight
  - Drag the insight to the desired position.
2. Resize an insight
  - Drag the edge of the insight to the desired size.
3. Remove an insight
  - Click on the drop-down button in the top right corner of the insight and select Remove.
4. Add an insight
  - Click on the Add Another Insight link.
5. Change location or date range
  - Adjust the filters at the top of the page and click Apply. Then click on the Save as Default button on the right.
6. Change dashboard name
  - Click on the Configure button. A dialog box appears. Enter the new name in the text box and click Save.
7. Add a caption to an insight
  - Click on the three dots in the top right corner of an insight and select Add Caption. Enter your caption in the text box and click Save.
8. Change dashboard share settings
  - Click on the drop-down button next to the dashboard name and select Share Settings. A dialog box appears. Select your desired share settings and click Save. For more information see Configure Dashboard share settings.
