A time zone is automatically added to an entity based on the entity’s location. However, if your entity is not associated with a specific location, or if you would like to change the time zone, you can manually select a time zone.
Accurate time zones are important for ensuring that scheduled updates occur at the correct time across different locales. For more information about scheduled updates, see Schedule an Entity Update.
Note: The Time Zone field is automatically included on all entities using built-in entity types. To add the Time Zone field to a custom entity type, see Edit the Field Configuration on an Entity Type.
To change an entity's time zone:
- Click Knowledge Graph in the navigation bar and click Entities.
- Click on the entity you would like to edit.
- To edit multiple entities at once, visit the Edit Entities in Bulk article.

Click on the Time Zone field and select your desired option from the drop-down menu.

Click Save.
