A time zone is automatically added to an entity based on the entity’s location for built-in entity types. However, if your entity is not associated with a location, or if you would like to change the time zone, you can manually select a time zone for an entity. Accurate time zones ensure scheduled updates go live at midnight in the exact time zone that you want for each specific entity. For more information about scheduled updates, see Create scheduled updates.
Note: For Custom Entity Types, the Time Zone field may not be part of that entity. To add the Time Zone field to the entity, you will need to edit the Field Configuration for the entity type. For more details, see Customize entity type field configurations.
To edit a time zone for an entity:
- Click Knowledge Graph in the navigation bar and click Entities.
- Click on the entity you would like to edit.
- To edit multiple entities at once, visit the Edit Entities in Bulk article.

Click on the Time Zone field and select your desired option from the drop-down menu.

Click Save.
