Yext Pages lets marketers build and publish thousands of SEO-optimized local pages — without developer support.
Note: The Get Started steps cover net-new Pages sites. If you're an existing Pages customer looking to access these capabilities, contact your account team.
What You Can Do
With Pages, you can:
- Build location pages at scale — launch thousands of local pages in days using pre-built, customizable templates.
- Style your entire site at once — set brand colors and fonts globally so every page stays consistent.
- Add a locator — let visitors find your nearest locations, with no separate Search configuration required.
- Build directories — create browsable location indexes that improve site navigation and help you rank for broad local searches (e.g., "dentists in Houston").
- Edit visually — drag and drop sections, map content from your Knowledge Graph, and preview changes before publishing — all from a visual editor.
Key Concepts
These terms come up throughout the Pages documentation. Each is explained in more detail in the relevant article.
| Term | Definition |
| Site | The top-level container for all your pages, typically tied to a single domain (e.g., locations.example.com). |
| Page group | A set of entities that share a layout. One site can have multiple page groups — useful for segmenting pages by location type or region. |
| Layout | The structure and design of pages in a page group. Built from drag-and-drop sections. Each page group has one layout. |
| Section | A modular building block of a layout (e.g., a hero banner, a map, a reviews block). Sections can be added, removed, and reordered. |
| Global styles | Brand-level design settings — colors, fonts, typography — that apply to every page across the entire site. |
| Entity | A record in your Yext Knowledge Graph (e.g., a location). Each entity generates one page. Content from the entity populates the page automatically. |
