This article will explain the different Suggestions Settings you can configure in your account and how to configure each type. For more information about approving and rejecting suggestions, see Approve or Reject Suggestions.
To configure Suggestions settings:
- Click Knowledge Graph in the navigation bar and click Configuration.
- Click Suggestions Settings.
- The steps for each suggestion setting differ depending on the type. Proceed to the following sections accordingly:
- Submission Locking
- Approvers have the ability to lock requested edits. When a requested edit is locked, users not in the assigned user group will not be able to edit the field.
- Click on the Submission Locking field, select your desired option, and click Save.

- Comment Attachments
- Users have the ability to attach documents to comments on suggested edits.
- Click on the Comments Attachments field, select your desired option, and click Save.
- Users have the ability to attach documents to comments on suggested edits.
- Suggested Edit Versions
- Users have the ability to view all versions of suggested content.
- Click on the Suggested Edit Versions field, select your desired option, and click Save.

- Rejection Comments
- Users will see a pop-up dialog when they reject a suggested edit, prompting them to select a rejection option and leave feedback. You can also choose whether a rejected comment is mandatory or not. When this toggle is on, comments will be required when a user rejects a suggested edit. Otherwise, users can reject suggested edits without leaving a comment.
- Click on the Reject Comments field, select your desired option, and click Save.
- Users will see a pop-up dialog when they reject a suggested edit, prompting them to select a rejection option and leave feedback. You can also choose whether a rejected comment is mandatory or not. When this toggle is on, comments will be required when a user rejects a suggested edit. Otherwise, users can reject suggested edits without leaving a comment.
- Suggestion Sources
- Select which sources you would like suggested edits to come from.
- Click on the Suggestion Sources field and select your desired sources. You also have the option to opt-in to future source types or not.
- Select which sources you would like suggested edits to come from.
- Fallback Assignee
- Select a user or user groups that suggested edits will go to if a user or user group is deleted from the platform. For more information, see Designate a Fallback Assignee.
