You may have the ability to remove first-party reviews that are unrelated to the entity or contain inappropriate content or spam.
Note: You must have the “View Entity Reviews” and “Remove First Party Reviews” user permissions to remove first-party reviews.
If you don’t have the necessary permissions, you can still flag first-party reviews for a member of the Yext team to remove the review. See Flag First-Party Reviews.
To remove a first-party review:
- Click Reviews in the navigation bar and click Monitoring.
- Locate the review you want to remove. For guidelines on which reviews to remove, see below.
- To view only first-party reviews, filter for “Sites” is any of “First Party” or “External First Party”.
- Click on the drop-down button next to Respond, and select Remove.
- If you don’t see the Remove option, you may have selected a third-party review from a publisher instead of a first-party review generated through Yext, or you may not have permission to flag reviews.
- Select the reason you are removing the review, and click Remove Review.
- The status of the review will now change to Removed.
