After an event has passed, Yext will automatically remove the Event Listings license from the Event entity seven days after the event end date.

Once a license is removed from an entity, the event listing will no longer sync to publishers. However, it may still be viewable on the publisher site.

You do not need to take any action in order for Event Listings licenses to be automatically removed, or for your past events to stop syncing to publishers. However, you can take actions on past event listings if you choose to.

This article details steps to:

• Remove an Event Listings license from an entity sooner than seven days after an event ends
• Delete an event listing to remove it from publisher sites (for publishers that allow event deletion)

Remove an Event Listings license

Event Listings licenses will be removed from Event entities seven days after the event ends. However, if you'd like to do this sooner, you can.

Event Listings licenses can be removed from individual entities, or from the Events page in Listings.

Remove the Event Listings license from an entity

1. In the navigation bar, click Knowledge Graph and then Entities.
2. Find and click on the Event entity that you would like to remove the feature pack for.
   • To do this for multiple entities: click the checkboxes next to the Event entities you want to edit.
   • Click the More Actions dropdown at the top of the page, and select Edit.
3. In the Entity Edit view, scroll down to the Licenses section on the right side of the entity. Hover over the section and click Remove next to the license name.
   
   
   
   
4. Fill out the information in the Unassign Licenses flow. You can choose to unassign the license immediately, or at a later date. When you're finished, click Continue.
   
   
   
   
5. Click Submit on the Summary page.
   
   

Remove the Event Listings feature pack from an event listing

1. In the navigation bar, click Listings and then Events.
2. Select the checkbox to the left of the listing or listings you want to delete.
3. Click the Select Action dropdown at the top of the page and select Remove Feature.
   
   

Delete an event listing

Deleting an event listing in Yext will remove the Event Listings license from the entity and stop the listing from syncing to publishers. When possible, it will also remove the listing from the publisher site.

Note that not all publishers support the delete functionality. For publishers that do not support event deletion, the license pack will still be removed from the entity and the listing will no longer sync to publishers, but the listing may still be visible on the publisher site.

To delete an event listing:

1. In the navigation bar, click Listings and then Events.
2. Click the arrow next to the View Listing button on the right side of a listing to open a dropdown menu. Select Delete Listing.
   
   
   
   
3. To delete multiple events, select the checkbox to the left listings you want to delete. Click the Select Action dropdown at the top of the screen and select Delete.
