Recommendations are suggested data updates from Yext to optimize your entities for Listings performance. This article details where to view your recommendations and how you can implement them.
View your recommendations
- Navigate to Listings > All Listings. If you have any listings with recommendations, you'll see a banner at the top of the page.
- Click View on the banner to see all recommendations.
- Click the toggle to switch the view between Active (recommendations that have not been implemented), or Closed (recommendations that have already been implemented or dismissed).
Accept recommendations
- If you want to implement a recommended data update, click the Review button on the recommendation. This will open a modal.
- In the Confirm Entities section, review the entities that the recommendation applies to.
- If there are 100 or fewer suggested entities, you can choose to deselect certain entities in order to exclude them from this data update.
- If there are more than 100 suggested entities in a single recommendation, you will need to apply the recommendation to all suggested entities.
- In the Confirm Change section, specify the data update that you want to make to the recommended field. This update will apply to all entities that are selected in the Confirm Entities section.
- Click Accept to apply the data update. You will see a confirmation banner at the bottom of the screen.
Dismiss a recommendation
- If you do not want to make a recommended data update, click the Dismiss dropdown in the top-right of the recommendation.
- Choose a reason from the dropdown to dismiss the recommendation. You will see a confirmation banner at the bottom of the screen.
