This article explains how to enable entity types within your account. Once an entity type is enabled you will be able to add those entity types into the platform. For more information about adding a custom entity type, see Create a custom entity type.
Note: Enabling an entity type does not give you access to entity-specific services (like Menu Listings, or Event Listings). For more information on these services, reach out to your Client Success Manager or Yext Support.
To enable entity types:
- Hover over Knowledge Graph in the top navigation bar and click on the Configuration sub-tab
- Click on the drop-down button next to View Details for the desired entity type, and select Enable.
- (Optional) Click Set as Primary to set that entity type as your default when adding new entities into the platform.
