Your Visibility Score is a measure of how easily Google and AI engines can find accurate information about your brand vs. competitors, on a scale of 0–100. This is made up of things you can't take action on directly, but can influence by honing your content strategy, like your Google ranking over time.
The Visibility Score is comprised of the following metrics, which can also be found as stand-along metrics on the Map and Visibility Report Views:
Google Rank
Your Google Rank is the average position of these locations in Google's Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs). A lower score means you're ranking higher in search results. For example, if your brand’s average rank is 2, that means that across all competitors within that selected area, your brand is the second result on Google. Locations that did not rank in the top 40 are not calculated into this average.
AI Rank
Your AI Rank is the average position of these locations in AI answers to unbranded queries. An unbranded query does not mention your brand specifically but is relevant, for example “Bank near me.” A lower score means you’re ranking higher in results. Locations that did not rank in the top 10 are not calculated into this average.
AI Brand Sentiment
Your Brand Sentiment is how often AI models refer to your brand positively, neutrally, or negatively for the selected locations. For example, a higher percentage of positive sentiment suggests the AI model found a lot of favorable opinions about your brand online and has learned that your brand reputation is generally positive.
