Through the Yext platform, you have the ability to respond to reviews left by your consumers. This feature is currently supported for Facebook, Google Business Profile, Yelp, TrustPilot, and first-party reviews. For entities in Germany, review response is also supported on GoLocal and MeinungsMeister.
Note: Review Response is not available in every subscription. If you do not see this in your account, reach out to your Client Success Manager or contact Yext Support.
To respond to a review:
- Click Reviews in the navigation bar and click Response.
- Click on the Respond button next to the desired review. A dialog box appears.
- To sort reviews, use the filter bar at the top of the screen.
- Note: When you click Respond for a TripAdvisor review, you will be directed to the review response entry window for the specific review on TripAdvisor.
- Create your response using the following response options:
- Enter your response in the text box.

Respond with Templated Review Response.

Click on the drop-down button for each review response component and select your preferred option.
- You can also click on the shuffle icon () to generate a random selection of response components.

Respond with a Review Response Asset.

Click on the plus sign () icon and click Apply Asset, then click on the desired text asset, and click Continue.
- To create a Review Response Asset, see Add a Text Asset. Be sure to select Reviews > Review Response for the usage.

Click on the plus sign () icon and click Apply Asset, then click on the desired text asset, and click Continue.
- Click on the Respond or Comment button to publish your response on the site where the review was submitted.
